UC Seat Selection Advice

Hey - I've read all the reviews and checked out lots of different posts on here but could do with a bit of advice on selecting our seats - we're a couple travelling LGW-UVF in Upper - 7A/K are not available... Would 8A/9A or 9A/9K be a better option if we want to be able to talk to each other without moving to the ottoman... I've reserved 8A/9A because I wasn't sure how big the gap across to K was...

Haven't flown the LGW UC top deck but I think you will find the general consensus on here is that 9a/k would be a little too far apart to be able to chat ,you are prob better off sticking with 8/9a

Mrs H and I try to get 6A+K (I assume those are taken too) however on our return from LAS on Saturday night we were in 9+10A which were fine, I think if you can't get 6 or 7A+K (or 12+14 A+K on the LHR fleet) then it's best if you're on the same side of the Aircraft.
