No seat allocated for flight tomorrow?

I am flying to barbados tomorrow and have had my chosen 27 aisle seat selected for some time. I'll be olci at 9 this morning but just looked at manage my booking to see if any upper deck seats released (as per v-flyer advice) and my seat selection has disappeared altogether and no front of plane seats available at all. So do I bag something further back or leave it until olci to see what is available? Quick advice please.

I'm always a firm believer in having at least something you've chosen reserved if possible. It might not be your ideal seat, but at least it is your choice out of the best of what is available. If you leave it until OLCI you the computer might take over and allocate the worst of the remaining seats.

If there are more seats that open at OLCI stage you can still change.

Well I did select another seat in row 31 but when online check in opened it said seat selection not available. However after entering all the details I was allocated the row 31 seat which I suppose isn't too bad. Barbados here I come.
