Hi all, travelling to Dubai UC in Sept and was hoping for advice on the best 2 seats together for travelling with the wife? 2 window seats or 1 window and 1 aisle? What would be best for conversation etc?

Many Thanks

You are likely looking to be on a the new UC on the A333....

Avoid the middle rows like the plague!!! The centre divide and angle of the seats narrows the headroom when in bed mode and if you lack a conical head then you will unlikely have a good sleep.

My recommendation would be to go for the A or K rows and two seats next to each other as opposed to opposite. Seat numbers 4A, 5A, 6A or 4K, 5K, 6K would be good.

First three rows get a lot of noise from the front galley, and the rear three rows get noise from the galley in the middle, the toilets and from the bar. Also the bar lights actually shine into these rows which is not good, with those semi opaque windows in the side, if you are trying to get some shuteye.

Hope this helps 8D

BTW - New A333, is that a new plane they have on order? (Apologies, new here!)

They are a/c that are currently in the fleet, but they are the newest a/c, which is why they are sometimes referred to as the new A333.

Sorry I did not make it clear.. The A333 is the Airbus A330-300 which is the newest addition to the fleet as Neil says.

The ones they have on order are the B787 Dreamliners, which probably won't arrive for a while ):

You will get to sample the New UC 'Dream' Suite though.

Always keen to hear peoples' thoughts on this ... it has received mixed reviews 8D
