BA Adverts in Scotland

Wonder if Little Red is having an effect already, or is BA just getting ready ?

Local Radio adverts proclaiming " BA has multiple daily departures from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen into the heart of London - London City Airport"

1st time I have ever heard a BA advert on our local radio (just south of Edinburgh)

I doubt they are having much of an effect yet. It could be a coincidence or some rivalry like the VS adverts in LHR T5.

Could play a part but more likely to be a fightback against easyJet, who fly to LTN, STN, LGW and SEN from various Scottish airports.

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a fast 'retaliation' by BA... there are adverts for VS Little Red everywhere in Edinburgh at the moment.. TV, radio, billboards, papers, posters, flags, balloons.. all over the city! It's an extraordinary effort by the VS press/PR team.

I have to agree on the Aberdeen front too. Loads of local radio push from BA. Am I weird that it annoys me? I can't put into words how glad I am about Little Red. What I did observe this week was that two people I know have said the Little Red loads are a bit light at the moment. Only about 30 pax on the middle of the 3 outbounds from ABZ last Fri.

I had the frustrating misfortune of having to step onboard BA metal last Wed at ABZ, the very day after Little Red started. Long story..... (avios through connection to Frankfurt). Needless to say my return LCY to ABZ was cancelled in typical dreadful BA form. All 30 ish pax were taxied to LHR and easily all moved onto the next LHR ABZ departure. These flights are nearly always full and within 4 days, two BA flights were easily combined.
The cracks are definitely appearing. Bring it on!!!!!

The radio can't compete against a beautiful red taxi though can it haha seeing these (or possibly just this taxi) all over Edinburgh
