OK ... take with a pinch of salt as the newspaper isn't the best but worth a read for a chuckle!

IMO, a lot of people have missed the humour with this article! :o)

I think I would call this a lighthearted launch :D A very good marketing idea to get the name in the press....might need a few drinks purchased to balance those finances though ):

Jayz! I've spent most of my time in the departure area of a Virgin America flight praying that X, Y and Z will be nowhere near me, let alone wanting to flirt with anybody! :0

Now, if it was a Virgin Atlantic flight and George Clooney was on board, I might feel differently :w

Difficult to manage on a Virgin America flight :?

However frothy, I do wonder whether putting this in a UK based media outlet is an own goal. Those who want it when flying VS to the US will be disappointed and those who don't will be frothing about "another reason not to fly VS"...

The VS VERA Touch and OnDemand IFE's do have seat to seat messaging and OnDemand (V:Port) has had this feature for years now so I don't really see what's new with this, or am I missing something ?|

Not that I can see. The only real difference is that the sender can buy the drink, rather than sending a free one.

Love how the offended minority on the DM page call it stalking.

Will I be able to send a pair of socks to those travellers who insist on parading their exposed feet to everybody in the cabin?
