Hi and welcome :)

I would go for a middle row of 4 as close to the front as possible, this will help reduce the queue at immigration. All the standard seats are the same so there are no better seats really and with MCO immigration sometimes being busy if your fight arrives close to another it is the only real factor I think worth considering.

The first row of 4 is a bulkhead and these are reserved for pax with babies or who need special assistance, so you won't be able to choose them - usually the first rows available for pre-allocation are about 4 or 5 rows back.

If you'd like extra leg room VS offer extra leg room seats (34" pitch instead of 31") for a small charge - or for a bit more you can buy exit row seats with unlimited legroom although kids aren't allowed in those.

Otherwise, as others have said, choose as far front as possible for swift disembarkation and you also get served first.

Personally I'd take rear seats, and live with queue - if you have the economy hire car.

Reason : The 2/3 trips I've taken this time of year on that flight, the VS15 can arrives after lots of other flights from both Virgin and others (there is an earlier VS flight (VS027?), and a BA flight from memory. This means by the rear of plane on VS15, the hire-desks may have run out of both econ and mid-sized cars. I've got a full-sized rental free on each occasion - though they were insistent I needed a bigger car at check in each time! If it was the earlier flight I'd pick front of plane every time ;)

Just a thought - depends on how critical getting out of airport is to you really - as mentioned being late can have advantages at MCO occasionally.
