upgrade :-) Bargain?

I had a PE reward (upgraded with amex voucher) flight booked on Mondays VS16 ...checked the website today and there was one UC reward seat when yesterday none ii)

a quick call to Swansea and ...lose the PE voucher upgrade on this sector, throw in 27000 miles and $213 (£150ish) and I now have a nice UC seat.

Sounds a good deal, with upper on the Gatwick fleet now pretty hard to beat.
