Virgin Atlantic is the only UK airline to be given a perfect score of seven out of seven for both safety and product in a new ratings site for 425 carriers around the world

In total, 11 airlines gained seven stars for both safety and product - these were Air New Zealand, Asiana Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, EVA Air from Taiwan, Korean Air, Qantas Airways, Royal Jordanian and Singapore Airlines - as well as Virgin Atlantic.

I wonder sometimes if we are overly critical of the airline we love...

Thanks for posting this.

As an Australian piece of work you would expect this to have a strong SYD-LHR basis. If we take away all the LGW/B&S route gripes the 340-600 offering for long-haul is pretty sound and is not the target of many moans on here.

Well done Virgin in any case!
