Thanks for the heads up Penny.
Having just binned my Amex Plat card, and the Priority Pass card that goes with it, I will no doubt be making use of this offer.

I used the new Number 1 lounge at Birmingham back in March using my Priority Pass and must say I was very impressed. I would say it's well worth the money if you need to pay.

Shame that there doesn't appear to be anything in place to actually prove the booker is Silver or Gold

Your FC number will indicate which level you are 008 silver or 009 Gold

No check that the number you input is yours though.

Cheers for posting this Penny y)

Now the next question.. can you book this on behalf of others and pocket the miles? Or do you have to be the one heading into the lounge?

no idea if you will need to show your FC card, it just says

A confirmation email with booking reference number will be sent to you directly. Please show this at reception upon arrival.

It doesn't specify if the name on the FC card has to match that on the booking though.... got to love vagueness in T&Cs.

Will give it a pop next time one of my mates passes through LHR and jokes about borrowing my AU card. ii)

Just to let you all know that I had a booking with the No1 Lounge at LHR T3 prior to this offer coming out and they have amended my current booking instead of me having to cancel and rebook on the VS website....Saved me £50 for our group y) ^)

May be others with the same problem - hope this helps :D
