Hi folks, I'm currently booked to fly (economy) on the VS200 flight back to Sydney on 26th July. When I try and choose my seat at the V-A website, I only get the choice of 4 available places (none of them great). Does this mean the flight is completely full? Or can I beg at check-in? Or will Virgin likely open more seats to choose from closer to the date? I am travelling alone. many thanks...

Hi - only about 60% of the seats in each cabin are available for selection before OLCI opens, the rest should open at OLCI T-24. However if the flight is very full then the system might take control of the allocations and select the seat for you.

No it does not necessarily mean a full flight - VS only allows for 60% of seats to be pre-requested (not reserved) with the majority of the balance released when OLCI opens.
