Not to worry, welcome aboard.

The SEQ number is the number assigned as an indicator to your order of check in. For example SEQ 1 is indicative of being the first to check in for your flight.

Usually it gives no benefit other than prestige on this fine site, there is a hypothesis that this number has a bearing on op-ups if it comes to it - of course impossible to tell for sure though. |:)

A fun little goal for most V-Flyers, hovering over the OLCI button at T-24 waiting for the starter's gun :P

Off to vegas tomorrow. Despite hovering over keyboard at t- 24 only bagged sequence 12 13 and 13 . Darn. I will definitely have to improve my typing speed

Hope ya enjoy Vegas, very jealous I have to say :P

A recent flight I only bagged SEQ4 and it took me less than 45seconds to complete OLCI at T-24. There are some damned fast people out there and they cannot all be secret V-Flyers :?

Could it be people that are already checked in as they are flying on an earlier connecting flight?

That's very likely. I've bagged a few seq 1s on connecting flights when checked straight through.
