LGW - CUN (Upgrade/Seating Q)

Hi everyone,

Long time 'lurker' of this forum.

We’re flying to CUN from LGW next month through a holiday booked with VH, very last minute; we just needed to get away before the teaching resumes at the end of the month.

I’ve looked around on the forum but I just wanted to get a clear, up-to-date answer if anyone can help; firstly, we are flying Y but was wondering whether there are usually any upgrades available to purchase on the day or shortly before hand by calling VA? If so, what price would we be looking at?

Secondly, we have requested seats in the ‘bubble’ luckily, however they are one in front of the other (which we aren't to fussed about, seen as we’re going to spend 2 weeks together ): ), what would be the best way of grabbing 2 seats together in the bubble, would this be via OLCI or Twilight?

After all of that, there is one redeeming factor; we have CH access - Phew! So not all doom and gloom, expect a trip report afterwards! Thanks everyone

Hi,

To upgrade before your flight, you will have to do it via VH only as you have booked via them. There is usually a set price for this.
On the day, there might be a chance to upgrade, this is usually £250/299 per person, one way.

Your next chance to change seats would be OLCI, although I imagine there won't be any in the bubble. If not, then try again when you get to the airport.
