Hilton double dip fixed miles coming to an end

Hilton has just sent me an email that from Jan 6th 2014 the fixed airlines miles will cease from its benefits.

It is being changed to miles for every pound/ dollar spent .

I got the email too and this is very disappointing news. The Hhonors programme is becoming less and less attractive.... n( v(
