Hi From LGW Clubhouse

Heavy security at the entrance of departures this morning a line of armed security guards with machine guns and other artillery. We were asked to walk in single file pass them.
We were quickly through fast track sercurity and received a warm welcome from reception at the CH lounge which is very full.
Booked a facial straight away then settled down to a very nice British breakfast. Now on my second glass of champagne! We off to Cancun in search of some sun.

Wonder what that security was all about Anyway back to business, have a great stay in the CH and keep popping that champers down!! Enjoy Cancun and bring that sunshine back y) 8D 8D

Thanks Petmadness, will do my best on the sunshine request. With regards to the sercurity I'm wondering if they have had a security alert or a high ranking royal or politician is using the airport today.

Have a wonderful holiday Daffodil, got to wait till February for our next dose of sunshine, have started on the vitamin D tablets. Regards Linda
