Coming back from ANU in Feb 2014, The PE seat selection was not available until around T-70. I guess they were not sure which version of the A330 would be servicing this route until then. In my excitement I booked 21A/C, But quickly remembered that Row 21 is not blessed with a window, so quickly swapped to 23A/C. Somebody has now selected both 21A and 21K, I bet they don't realise that there is no window in that row. Perhaps it would be a good idea to show it on the seat plan and avoid the potential for disappointment.

I had this disappointment coming back from Dubai with my wife on the 18th this month. I had chosen these seats from early on, of course I did not know of this situation. Have written to Virgin, not because there was no window (i suppose that it has something to do with stucture strength) but that there was no referrence to this fact. Nothing shows on seat guru either. My ticket price was not worth the money paid. I have yet to recieve a reply from Virgin.

allegedly the window is not fitted to allow for the risers from the air-conditioning units (located near the leading edge of the wings) to the hi level vents. There are also black triangles near the window best suited for the crew to inspect the wings in flight for icing etc. sorry to be an anor...
