Oooh thanks for that, I'm looking for flights at the moment and up until now, Virgin has been the most expensive, I might not have to flight United afterall!!!

A sure sign a sale's on the way!

Classic sales technique - gradually raise your prices, then the discount looks bigger when you launch a sale.

True! I've been putting off buying flights in the hope of a sale, BA seems to have some keenly priced flights as well. It was become a choice between them and United, but Virgin might get my custom afterall now.

The usual VS IT rubbish prevails - note that MAN-MCO fares are listed as "via Heathrow."

You'd think someone would have checked this sort of thing!

I'm not sure that's a mistake - none of the MAN direct routes are listed as being included in the sale so presumably the MAN-MCO sale fare quoted is for an LGW flight which would, of course, involve a Little Red connection via LHR.

Upper now included, nothing special in the terms of fare there (no 2011 December sale). I came across this via travelzoo which claimed there was a PE sale on, but the main sales stuff on the VS website doesn't list any PE fares...

BA have launched a Club World sale, as they did last year, for Christmas/New Year departures. It's a narrow travelling window, so presumably VS have done something similar.

Some good fares in Club £1k to Vancouver upto Jan1st on selected days, a few deals to Brazil. Don't really cross over on VS routes apart from Mumbai.:-(

Mexico City, San Paulo and Rio.... All murder cities... Or...

Calgary, Vancouver or Toronto, all freezing towns (ok, probably not that cold for Vancouver, Victoria claims to be quite snow free).
