Stayed overnight in the Hilton to collect me extra 2500 miles as part of the Hilton promotion before it ends in January .

We were flying Jet 2 to Tenerife for Christmas from Manchester and although we were 30 mins late in leaving the stand for a 13:15 departure it the experience just got worst.

I now know why we fly Virgin as the crew were the most unhelpful crew I have ever had the mis fortunately to fly with .

Service did start ok with the pre ordered meals and we were unfortunately on the first row opposite the toilets so as everyone left that I lovely waft of urine came out :0 :0 ps to oneself don't allow the mrs to order the seats :D .

Anyway the rudeness from the crew started when they closed the curtains to the service area next to row A and since the 2nd toilet was there a by now a health queue had formed my wife asked is there a reason why you have closed this curtain to be told no so she said it would be nice to clear the backlog as even our own personal space was being invaded. v( v(

I also heard the crew tell a passenger why didn't you order two drinks as we have others to serve even though he walked up the aisle to them .

Anyway I suppose you pay for what you get and have the delights of the return journey in 6 days but on a positive note it's going to be 24 degrees tommrow y) y) y)

Merry Christmas to all flyers and thanks for all the advice thus far. oo) oo) oo)

I guess that sums it up. I would imagine that flying away for Christmas is now so much more freely available to the masses, due to low cost carriers. Suck it up and enjoy what a generation ago may well have been out of most of our reaches. But more importantly enjoy the sun. Very Jealous as the gales roll by.
