Waves from 'view Heathrow lounge' at T4

Currently sat in what can only be described as a glass box on the roof of T4 with some iPads and binoculars (will keep me entertained) where it is quiet with a good view across the airfield from hart on cross and Concorde up to T5.

It is hotter than hell up here but I think I will stay here sat in the quiet waiting for my klm flight to AMS for my AMS-LHR-JFK flights tomorrow.

It's a shame that it is only an airside facility. Gone are the heady days of being able to see the aircraft from the terrace atop the old queens building between T1 and T2. v(

The crazy thing is that at one time the terrace was one of the top visitors attractions I believe in the South East.

Come on Heathrow, it would be nice to see it's like again i)
