It finally arrived!
I tried just after midnight but it wouldn't save the requests so I came back at 8am and requested 19A and 18A. I was the first to do so! Seq 1 next! y)
I know for couples you all say 12A/K is the best but we both would kill each other being that close together for 8+ hours!
Just checked again and only seats in the bubble had been requested! Maybe they haven't read vflyer?
Now to do the same in 12 days for our return!

Well done , it's amazing but most people seem to go for the bubble before the A zone , this happened on my most recent flight on a 744 ,

simon even said when he saw those seats had been requested "why did they pick those and share a cabin with Y?" And he doesn't read vflyer.
Not that there's anything wrong with Y!

Osmosis! That boy is learning from your reading v-flyer and feeding back. Well done on the seat selection.

You'd kill each other eh? Think I'd probably choose seats next to each other rather than opposite with my OH. Not that there's anything wrong with him, he's not a leper or anything, but we're not big on gazing romantically at one another! ):

Me and simon are like children if we were to sit in the ever so romantic :$ seats in such proximity to each other it would start out nice, giggles fun and games (alcohol) a little bit of footsie (not) and like most kids when they have to much fun something happens and it all ends in tears.
Although, I can see the bickering already on who gets 18, I vowed never to sit in front of him in UC again cos he kept pestering me and it hurt my neck tuning around so many times! In fact I moved to the seat behind him at one point!

We prefer 15A&K (LHR config) if we can get them - a little more spacious than those further forward and when you've been married as long as we have, entire conversations can be conducted with the lifting of an eyebrow, pointing at the menu, the movie list, indicating the view, etc!
We did the "one behind the other" some years ago flying ANZ to NZ and I got tired of having to stand up/kneel up on the seat (I'm not very tall) to have a conversation so we now do opposite but near enough as with 15A&K.
But alas not often enough, sometimes the miles don't run to UC.
