Hi all,
In the Clubhouse for 20 minutes and my flight leaves at 10pm
Check in like a dream, secutiry even better... Not a single soul in sight !
Clubhouse pretty quiet too ... Head massage booked for 6.30... In the meantime, Lanson and Deli is all I need... Oh and a visit to the Grey Goose Loft .... I have to try that black truffle martini !!!

Just watching Queen of the Skies getting to her gate while the sun is shining on her...
What an array of airlines I have in front of me ...
PIA, Finnair, Vueling, Turkish, Cathay, Qantas 388s shining away in the sun and of course Virgin... Oh and might be a first for me but a DHL aircraft in full colours just passed in the background... Can't remember having ever seen one in LHR...

How was the truffle martini?

Very interesting indeed! Probably not to everyone's taste but very earthy and zesty at the same time ... And the complimentary head massage was sooooooo good! Feels like I had a full night sleep!

EDIT: stopped at the Concierge and talked to the CS manager to give praise to 3 particularly good members of the team.
I was really touched how she received my words of praise... She was really grateful that I made the effort to stop by and I really appreciated that.

Reached Delhi 20 minutes earlier, first out of the plane to a very empty Terminal 3. Flight was very quiet with 136 passengers, of which only 13 in UC...
Very surprising for a flight to India...
