How to connect iPhone to new VERA systems?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what cable you need to connect iOS devices to the new VERA systems on VS flights? I quite fancy throwing my videos up to the screen on VS05 on Wednesday. I'll be using an iPhone 5S or iPad Mini. Is this something you can buy?

If you are flying on a 747 from LHR you will have Vera on demand not Vera touch so you won't be able to do that.

It's a 330 according to the seat plan available on the VS website so I was under the impression it was the new system?

The A330 is the new system.

Not done it myself but I believe it's the standard USB connecting wire, there is a USB connection on the seat back for powering (not charging) your iDevice.

Is the seat back screen any bigger than an iPad mini?

I sit corrected, while you can charge using a standard USB if you want to connect you'll need to purchase a "special wire" onboard for £25
