So, it's good evening from a fairly packed Honk Kong ClubHouse; VS200 UC passengers are intermingled with EVA Air 872 to Taipei, and Emmeline Heaney sits at the end of the airbridges.

Hong Kong has been overcast for the past two days, at least, and the humidity has continued into the terminal at HKG Chek Lap Kok; a Dyson bladeless tower fan is moving the air at the CH eception.

Boarding is due to begin in 30 minutes, the Priority Boarding stand has just been wheeled out of the CH, and I'm intending to devour a plate of sliced smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast, with another glass of Lanson, before hosing myself down in the shower.

Hope you have had an awesome time in the the HKG CH Huw.

Probably my favorite in the VS network... Service never falters, the menu is always sound (no weird broccoli or radish dishes for example) and I find sitting aloft on the balcony watching the terminal traffic move about below is amazingly relaxing.

Enjoy your flight 8D

Is it shutting down then ?

they are -- I think he meant that if you are just a SYD flyer you'll miss it.

It's really a wonderful CH. Joey's comment about relaxation is spot on.

Yes - sorry to confuse. I don't think its closing. I just use the syd route fairly frequently. I have moved to ba now, but I do have a final flight in May to HK so will enjoy it one more time at least.

joeyc: What are we going to do with this one, Frank?
Frank: Now that you've called me by name?

Once Upon a Time in the West; one of the classic Westerns, a box office failure on it's release but now considered one of the finest films made; if you haven't seen it, watch it (175 minutes) as Henry Fonda portrayal of 'Frank' is mesmerising, those icy blue eyes.

Back to the ClubHouse:

Harmonica: And Frank?
joeyc: Frank sent us.
Harmonica: Did you bring a horse for me?
joeyc: [Chuckling] It looks like we're... it looks like we're shy one horse!
Harmonica: You brought two too many.
