The CH is only for outbound as it is airside after security.
There used to be revivals lounge at LGW but that closed a few years ago, so there currently is no lounge provided on your arrival.

If you do want a freshen up on arrival at LGW, it may be worth enquiring with any of the nearby airport hotels that have leisure clubs / facilities. I know that the Radisson at MAN at one time had a deal on for "day access" to the health club. It was something like £10 per person and clearly aimed at arriving passengers who may want shower / changing facilities.

The Hilton is attached to the terminal.
