To be able to be invited into the Clubhouse as a guest you and your friend need to be travelling on the same flight as the person who will invite you in. Your best bet is to look at the Itinerary Calendar at the bottom of the page to see if anyone is travelling on your flight and, if so, make direct contact.

Alternatively, you can always ask at check-in if it is possible to purchase CH access on the day which will depend on the numbers already in there.

I should add, that while I admire your chutzpah in making such a request, many will think that it is rather a cheek to join the forum simply to ask for Clubhouse access. Personally, when I am able to invite a guest in, I am more likely to check who may be on my flight and extend an invitation to someone who has contributed something to the forum.

I just seem to have lost the ability to invite a guest in to the CH..........

Blimey, that brings back memories of a security guard who "touched me up" on Aeroflot many years ago. I am obviously haunted by the memory; not surprisingly as he/she ( I am still not sure) was the spitting image of that photo.

Now, just relax..are you sure that your desire to take long eastbound flights across a variety of carriers isn't a subconscious search activity in an attempt to reconnect with this person? :w

I don't know, I like her eyes; dark and mysterious, like something out of 30 Days of Night.

I don't get all this "guesting in" of strangers to the airline lounges. Not just VS, it seems frequent on Flyertalk for other airlines too. If all status card holders did this the lounges would be so full it would take away an important part of the lounge benefits- a haven of peace before the flight.

For those that fork out many £$£$£$ for UC tickets, having to share a packed lounge with economy class chancers would, rightly so, cheese a few off!

Maybe that makes me sound mean spirited, but hey, I can live with that :)

Just speculating, but maybe the current VS 'same flight' rule takes it back to the original intent of a benefit for business derived FF when flying socially and for business travellers in a group when their company travel policy splits them across the fare spectrum.

Hey, I have just seen all the replies. How funny!! :-) I only wanted to do this as a treat for my best friend as it's her birthday on that day so thought a little "VIP" experience would get our New York trip off to a great start!! We are certainly no Vicky pollards or Jeremy Karl types. Haha. Two very classy ladies who just want to have a good time!! Woooo!! Don't be grumpy!! Come on....lets hug!! P.s...I have tried to upload a pic as my profile pic but so far its not working!! Boo.

Because they're looking to get all the benefits without any of the cost... v(

You can't blame them for trying, but to register and have it as your first post is very.....well, very forward!

Personally, I would only guest someone in if I thought they were a genuine forum member.....and then I would be delighted to do it.

But I wish them luck, nonetheless.
