Edinburgh connections for vs19

Long time reader of the forum, which has been very helpful and 1st post.

Quick question i'm booking EDI - SFO for June and normally when I do this trip about every six months I fly into LHR the night before however I can't do it this time due to work. So I was wondering what EDI flight is best for connections to VS19, the 6.35am or 9.10am. I'm gold member so have access to the lounge etc.

I guess it all depends on how long you want to spend in the CH ,I know which one I would be on !

Ha... ok you're AU so I am guessing have fully experienced the CH before. Aim for the 9:10... assuming no delays it will give you enough time in the CH for a drink or two and a bite to eat before departure.

Tis what I would do

it's a matter for you really.
Are you the sort that takes it all in his stride?
If so go for the later flight.
Are you the sort that anticipates all sorts of problems and frets about them?
If so take the early flight and build in a 3 hour safety margin.

Personally I'm an early bird and would rather wait in the club house relaxing than worry about road closures and flight delays due to weather, accidents, mechanical problems, loading truck colliding with the aircraft, passenger not boarding and having to unload the luggage, crew going sick, runway closure due to sudden appearance of a sink hole.........
