Ryanair and Stanstead

Haven't flown from STA or with Ryanair for many years. Wanted to know if it is possible to check in early with Ryanair so that we can get through security and get a 90 minutes in the lounge before the flight. I know some airlines restrict check in to 2 hours before. First flight with the little one so wanted to have a relaxed experience with no rushing and plenty of time to look at the planes!

Last time I flew Ryanair from Bristol we dropped our bags off around 2 1/2 hours before departure time, went through security & to the bar & they called the flight over an hour before departure! We just got in one long queue after another just to ensure an "on time" departure.

Hi WIPL,
I checked in over 2.5 hours prior to my FR flight from AGP last Friday as the traffic up to Malaga wasn't half as bad as it usually is.
I left the lounge about 35 mins prior to departure and joined the end of a very long queue. Now that seating is all pre-allocated it's not the scrum that it used to be, so I was happy to be one of the last to board .
