I appreciate that many of us are not fans of the 330, often due to the cabin size and the UC seats. But one big advantage was that they were new and clean.
I was on VS001 on Saturday and VS026 on Monday, both on 330's and I was surprised how quickly they are showing their age.
The UC bar is badly marked and is a mess. The drinks area is now covered by a piece of red plastic, presumably because it has got so bad. The toilets are also looking poor, with the plastic under the seat peeling off - a little like a 10 year old aircraft.
The seats still look OK, although are suffering from a few marks - as may be expected. Also had my first IFE failure on a 330 but a full system reset did the trick.
I wonder if these aircraft are going to need some serious internal maintenance quite soon?
