Hi,
I have my first visit to the clubhouse Saturday morning and wanted to check if anyone could recommend any of the spa treatments for the not so fair sex?

I'm tempted by the cutthroat shave while my girlfriend gets a blow dry (didn't even know that was a thing) but then I think, is it really worth it? I mean I can just shave myself and that's £40 that could be spent on a nice porterhouse in Chicago.... :? it's also 45 mins I could be enjoying in the clubhouse. Probably eating. I like eating.

I also notice they don't have Bloody Mary's on the menu; can I assume they'd be able to whip one up if requested?

a cut throat shave is pretty cool though, as cool as a porterhouse? well thats for you to decide. me and the missus had a facial (which doesnt seem to appear on the menu now-its just a basic one lol)
we only had three hours but managed to do a lot.
im pretty sure you can get a bloody mary.

While I can't comment on the cut-throat shave - although many of the gentlemen on here (and I use that term advisedly :o) ) have raved about it, I can confirm that a Bloody Mary will be available to you

I love having a proper cut-throat shave and facial. When in the States it is always a "must-do" for me.

The Americans have excellent, proper, traditional barber shops. Look out for a rated barbers in Chicago and have your shave there. It will be cheaper and I expect a better experience that in the Clubhouse.

Instead, when visiting the Clubhouse have a freebie hair cut and then get comfy at the bar whilst you OH has her blow dry. The cocktails are great!

Hi Olas86,

I always go for the cut throat shave and in fact will be having one on Saturday morning before my flight to MIA.

Might see you in the CH.

Mr Marshy loved his haircut and facial. I had a facial and the hand treatment and it meant we were both in at the same time.

Whatever you opt for I'm sure you will love it. It's just about being there and having something.

It was free last year in LHR but I had to pay 15 quid for it in LGW, but the safety shave is very good too. It's more than just a shave, its the hot towels, cold towels etc etc, and takes half an hour.

Haircut is good too. I dunno if they still don't charge for a trim, they didn't before, but as we know that changes.
