Kids' meals have to be pre-ordered in all cabins, and I suspect - like all the other special meals - they're exactly the same in all cabins, just served differently.

How old and fussy is the "kid"

I'd avoid like the plague and cherry pick off the UC menu, unless overcooked gloop with a weird sort of dried skin on it is their thing.
Pick up a fruitshoot and a bag of sliced fruit at the airport and you can create your own.

There are 5 kids!!!

Ages 9, 7, 6, 2, and 1!!!

6 and 2 are not fussy at all. 1 is only really on breads, cereals, pasta etc. 7 is mostly fine but can be picky sometimes. 9 is very very very picky!

5 kids in UC, good for you. Sounds like a major goody bag being prepared at the airport...
The kids meals are the same throughout, maybe do a split and share out between main menu and kids offerings?
