Hi and welcome to V-Flyer.

If your flights are on the same booking, you will in all probability be checked through from Dublin and Aer Lingus will issue your boarding passes. I fly from Cork and generally fly over the night before to connect with my Virgin flight but then I'm on separate tickets (and it was through LHR). However on my last flight there was a guy from the Cork flight with a boarding pass issued by Aer Lingus from LHR to San Francisco. There is no reason why they should not do the same to MCO from Dublin and you will have both boarding passes. You will then follow the signs for transferring passengers.

If, however you are on separate tickets, you will have to pick up your luggage in LGW, clear customs and re-check with Virgin in LGW. Both use the South Terminal
