Which is definitely a contender for the 'worst lounge I've been in' award. Equally as dingy, soulless and dated as the CX lounge at MNL, but without even the minor compensation of any alcohol. I wouldn't be here at all but for the fact that the BA check in staff wrote me 4 invites rather than the 2 that I was entitled to (seeing my children in tow). At the time I thought it was a nice gesture but now I'm wondering if I annoyed her in some way!

There is at least some minor amusement in that a DYKWIA type is now arguing with the receptionist about why the 'BA passport fast track' wasn't 'working' for him - as though anyone would care in a contract lounge...

Oh and the staff are trying to chase a sparrow out, as it presumably doesn't have an invite...

Oh, and followed by parking up at a domestic stand that was not ready for us, waiting ages for steps (which for some reason were only at the back of the plane, I can only imagine the indignation from the CE cabin!), and then having to be bussed to the terminal.

Never mind, it was a great mini-break otherwise! Can't rate La Maison Arabe highly enough, if anyone wants a recommendation...
