security at Gatwick south terminal

We're flying Dub-lgw-mco on 23rd august and wondered how long is it currently taking to gey through securityin gatwick

Pretty quick. Depends on so many different factors though.

since LGW south security has been redone it is pretty quick to get through I think the longest I have spent in LGW security at the south is 20 minutes at the peak time but at all other times no longer than 5 minutes.

I flew the day after the new measures were introduced and all done in 10mins even though airport was quite busy

3 minutes the other day...but that was fast track at 6 am...and not to the US, so no requests to power up electronic gizmos.
