Tomorrow will be T-60 for our return flight from BGI. As a couple we will go for Window seats as they are in twos, but does anyone have any recommendations which to go for?

As it is a night flight i was tempted to go for the back row so we can recline without disturbing anyone and not have anyone jabbing the back of the seat for the IFE, but is there a bulkhead at the front of economy and therefore the likelihood of a bassinet and therefore crying baby noises?

Yes there is a bulkhead behind the last row or FE and yes that is the bassinette position.

You'll also likely to be disturbed (light etc) as crew move up and down the cabin and open the curtain.

This the the A330 seat map on the VS website. I trust that more than seat guru etc on cabin layouts - the ratings and information are quite often out of date too.

on the night flight to DXB a couple of weeks back they'd booked me in the front row of PE, luckily i noticed and got change of seat to rear row in 25G

i did wonder if there'd be any noise/disturbance from EC, but it turned out the noise was all from the front of PE - there's the bassinette area there too and PE galley/toilets are also at the front

i used eyeshades/earplugs and had a decent snooze, also enjoyed the full recline without guilt that the back row of PE offers

on the return flight the only real noise was from a crying baby in UC

both flights had light load in EC, maybe it'd be different if it were full up

I don't know about the 330 but on the 747 I go for row 19 for exactly the reasons you state. You are also no too close to the WC
