Hi all

Just looking for advice on the best time to call the FC.
Want to book our flights to DXB for next year and utilise PE upgrade vouchers.
I always seem to be on hold for ages with no idea of queue length ?|
Any advice would be much appreciated y)

ps. I am lowly red, hubby is silver if that makes any difference ?

No idea when it's best to call but I'd try the silver number on the back of hubby's card.

It may get higher priority than the general or red numbers.

The have a separate option for red vs silver vs gold if you push 5 to speak to someone on flying club then 2 for silver. Not sure if it does anything special tbh. I ring the AU line and sometimes someone from the "premiere team" answers (or chooses to identify themselves as such) and sometimes I suppose I'm routed to whoever is available.

I usually call in the late evening UK time myself.

I rang just after 6 a.m. when I last upgraded.
Only a short hold and the person who answered was just filling in until others came in at 8 a.m.
As a complete aside, make sure you are not paying more for your ticket to allow use of the voucher than you would just to buy a cheap PE.
I ring 01293 473800 I don't know if it makes any difference.

The upgrade vouchers can only be utilised against miles redemptions so this isn't applicable :)

Yes, I can get us all into PE for about £1200 :o) Depending on availability of course, which is looking good for our dates currently. You just need to have reward seats available in PE but pay EC miles. We have used this twice before to ORD and MCO.
