Hi all,

Back from Cuba, it was wonderful :D

I'm missing my Flying Club miles and tier points for both outbound and return. However when I went to claim them online, a message pops up saying "Our records indicate you did not fly on the flight you have submitted." Except, erm... I definitely did?! All my details are exactly correct, so not sure what's happening?

I've obviously emailed VAFC and am waiting to hear back, but was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem recently?

Thanks :)

I've had the reverse: miles and a tier point showing up for a US domestic DL flight which I was due to take, but didn't in the end. No idea how that happened. But I, er, didn't raise it with either DL or VS (funnily enough)...

Have exactly the same at the moment being an M upgraded to upper with miles. Sent off email and waiting for them to update account.

Strangely the miles booster miles have posted ?| ?|

This is one of the issues that they really need to fix ASAP. It annoys customers and takes customer service staff away from fixing real issues.

One day maybe ......

When I booked M-G for my trip next year, I was told by the really helpful lady on the phone that miles and TPs probably won't post so she just said that we would need to give the FC a call. Apparently miles upgrades confuse their very sophisticated system...

I've had this message at least three times for a variety of reasons, once after upgrading at the airport, once when booking held in system and I actually booked same flights online after holding for 45 minutes trying to confirm, cant remember details of others, but anyway its an IT thing [surprised?]- never had to send in stubs or anything, just a quick call to FC and all sorted [it all shows on their systems]

This has happened every single time I've upgraded to a higher class using miles. The original class does not post as expected. You will need to either forward them your booking email or phone them up. My fiancée went through her flights from the past while and realized she had missed one. Poof! Au!
