Yes they seem to run these offers quite frequently last one was a couple of months ago. I paid for ours and the extra miles have posted already even though we have yet to travel. lin

No wonder. Selling air miles is a huge source of easy revenue for airlines. They've got your money upfront - and earn interest on it - for something that may not be used for weeks, months, years or even at all, and something they could devalue tomorrow if they so wished.

Very true indeed Gumshoe,

You may be better off taking your flight and then "boosting miles" after, I believe you can do it up to six months after you have flown if you can find a decent reward flight to use them on, otherwise you may well end up saving for a couple of G's only to find VS have pulled your favourite route.

In total I've spent £60 double boosting two little red flights.
I have managed two G flights to MCO so far which I reckon has saved £1000 per person per flight so for two of us £4000
I have confessed to being an addicted collector elsewhere but I for one am quite happy with the system.
I don't know at what point in my life I changed but I have gone from being a glass half empty person to a glass half full person.
Gumshoe, what is this interest you talk of?
I seem to remember when I first had a mortgage banks demanded 15% from me at one point. Now that I no longer have one but have some savings the decimal point seems to have moved to 1.5%
Ah well 22 weeks to go till my next G seat.

Whoop whoop.

It's worked for Mr Roxy Popsy as we have just returned this week from UVF & he needed them to secure his G for MIA in Jan - result :D.

As they don't show for upto 72 hours the helpful FC staff member has held our flights until Tuesday morning & has recorded to give me a ring back to finalise & pay :)

However, it's me that faffs about doing this type of task because I've learnt the system.
