Hi all,

Well I have heard a new one today about the booking system.

They say they can't move people out of their seats now once they have booked it only the UK can and no one else. This refers to premium economy.

Ontop of this they cancelled the 16 today and have transferred all pax to the 28 but have kicked the pax travelling on 28 in pe out of their seats to book those in that were on the 16.

This is only part often circumstances but the response I got from check in agent at MCO is this is our only options and the UK teams tell us we have to handle it as they don't want to deal with the fall out. Souds like Virgn is going back to it's old ways and will certainly be losing me as a customer if this is the level of service they expect to deliver.

Am actually flying but in ec with £250 gift card but going to discuss with VS when I return home tomorrow in writing as this isn't acceptable.

Has anyone else had the anu issues similar since new seating reservation system was launched

If you were downgraded then the compensation is 75% of the ticket price under EU261/2004 plus whatever VS decide to give you as 'customer service recovery'

They are also supposed to tell you your rights under EU261 but are obviously hoping people will accept the £250 and leave it at that.
