LAX clubhouse

Hi,

Does anyone have an update on when the above is hoping to open?

The last I heard was in this interview with Craig Kreeger from mid January: http://www.virgin.com/travel/the-challe ... ne-in-2015

He mentions an April opening date. As much as I would LOVE it to be open by then (as we fly out of LAX towards the end of April), I shall not hold my breath I am generally a glass half empty kind of gal, though, so others might be more optimistic!

Unlike anything to do with IT, VS seems to open clubhouses pretty much on schedule. I'll be there on 10 May so very much hope it's open too. The Loft is crap apart from cheap booze and runway views, and the AC lounge is terrible for no booze and snacks.

The obvious opening date would be March 29th, to coincide with the first VS24.

That'll be a real shame. Somehow, a clubhouse at the end of a trip is even more important than at the beginning. Or maybe this is just me who feels like that???? Other lounges seem to just be so uncaring

I asked on the phone 3 or 4 days ago and they still reckoned april but couldn't give an exact date

I wonder if there'll be a big party - the party for the new JFK clubhouse was fantastic!

Hoping for a soft-opening a couple of weeks before - on VS8 on 28th April in UC.

But suspect it will not be. Will post news here if I see it before the "official" opening.

We're on the vs024 so if the clubhouse hasn't opened is it still the virgin America lounge we get access to? My boy is with us and he's only 5 and the virgin America website says no entry to anyone under 12. Does anyone know if this is enforced even though we are travelling upper? Thanks
