Splitting Upgrade Vouchers

Just wondering is it possible to split 2 upgrade vouchers (Y to PE) into 4 one way upgrades?

Would try to book 4x mileage Y out and 4x
M revenue back and upgrade return with miles.

Not sure if possible?

I've never heard of that being done before and imagine the answer will be no, but it's certainly worth a call to Flying Club to see what they say.

Just to clarify though, you say you want to book Y out and M back upgraded with miles? The vouchers only work on a miles economy seat, not a revenue one, so I can't see how you would make them work in your plans anyway?

I'm sure I've seen posts here before saying 1 amex upgrade voucher has been used for 2 one way upgrades and the pax got revenue tickets return. Do a search in the forum (afraid I haven't time to find it for you).

I'm pretty sure I'm not imagining this.

I was told I can by a chap at Virgin UC department.
I have 1x Upgrade Voucher looking to upgrade my reward seat to PE for Boston in July.
He said no problem.... if there was PE rewards available.

The voucher would upgrade me both ways, but as I only wanted it for one way (UC reward coming back) he would upgrade both myself & my partner on one way.
