What happens to upgrade/companion vouchers once you redeem?

Hi all,
Just a quickie that hopefully someone will be able to answer straight away.

I recently used a PE upgrade voucher and was expecting to see some sort of entry in my FC statement to say its been redeemed. Should I be expecting this or is there no record in my statement that its been used?

You should have an entry on the date of the flight you will be taking, under the mileage redeem that reads something like

03 *** 2015 VAA Credit Card Rwd: Upgrade Econ.to Prem.Econ.rtn 0 0
