A340 MAN-LAS

Morning all

Does anyone know exactly when the temp A-340 arrives to fly the MAN to LAS route on a temp basis?
Plus which aircraft it will be?

All MAN-LAS flights will be on an A346 between July 23 and Sep 1.

The specific aircraft won't be known until the day and may well change for each flight as it'll presumably just come out of the LHR pool.

A 346, really? Whats the thought behind this since the 747 and 333 are usually deployed on this route.

Maybe VS feel they need extra UC capacity on the route during the summer holidays.

Or, perhaps more likely, with extra flights from both MAN & GLA this summer they haven't got enough LGW 747s but with the 787s now coming on stream regularly at LHR they have a 346 to spare.
