Recently flew to San Francisco via Atlanta from Manchester.

The ticket was bought from Budgetair.co.uk and ticketed as VS.

The flights were with Delta in Economy Class O.

Any one any idea why I have only received 50% of the miles in my account ?

I believe lowest economy fares on Delta operated flights only earn 50% miles.

Interesting that the website doesn't mention code shares and only makes mention of "operated".

If you book a flight on AA as a BA codeshare, you get BA value avios not AA rates. Seems odd that Virgin haven't copied this, unless it is a mistake.

Possibly because that is what an O fare allocated in terms of miles?

That is certainly the case with a VS 'O' fare

That is out of date information. O class on VS earns 100% miles.

I suspect VS follows Star Alliance convention whereby operating carrier miles are awarded rather than ticketing carrier.
