Hi all. We will be flying Virgin upper class for the first time on the return leg of our trip to London. We will be flying LHR to JFK on what looks to be an A330-300.

We are a family of three - myself, husband and our daughter, who will have just turned six while in London. We have been luck enough to fly Delta business to/from LHR thanks to my very generous sister, so are used to flying with daughter and myself seated next to each other and husband on the side.

Since this will be our first time on Virgin, I was wondering if anyone could recommend the best seating arrangement for our family of three. Currently we are booked as daughter and myself in 3A and 4A with husband accross the aisle in 3A.

Does this seem like a doable seat selection for the three of us?

Hi and welcome.

I think you have picked what is probably the most sensible selection for you, there isn't really anything that works better than anything else in that cabin. I suppose you could go either side of your daughter, but if you have one of you across the aisle she will be able to see you during times the seat belt is on.

I agree. We did similar when flying with my eight year old and it was fine. In truth the a330 cabin is that cramped ALL the seats are pretty neat each other!
