I knew VS were blocking access to FC online for a couple of days (this weekend), but I've just noticed this sentence:

This means you will be unable to make reward bookings or spend your miles during this time, either on our website or via our Contact Centres.

Even Virgin EC Trains had IT problems during the week, but the amazing thing was my complaint was answered the same day and the next day an e-mail arrived apologising for the inconvenience and saying all was up and running again !!
Perhaps they could move some of the train IT department to VS? JUST A THOUGHT.

Problem is VTEC has virtually nothing to do with Virgin! It's 90% owned by Stagecoach, with the Virgin group holding a token 10% just so they can use the brand.

VS should be looking to Delta for help with its IT - which I've heard it is. It'll take time though.
