Thank you for posting.
The UC one makes me so want to be there right now !!!

I wonder who they get to pose as passengers in these videos ? Hijacked real passengers ? Crew ? Out of work equity members ?'

That's a really good representation of the UC experience on a 787. You get a proper feel for the cabin and can see how it all fits together. Can't wait for my next flight in one!

To be fair the PE one looks like a genuine representation of what the onboard experience is like, done in a very clever way. Full marks.

Maybe VS is learning from the recent times when their marketing may have overhyped the offering?

They have to be actors, you wouldn't get that many good looking people on an aeroplane at the same time 8D

They are actors or models. The male crew at the onboard bar is a model (he models for the company I work for) and if I'm not mistaken he's in some of the old promo pics of the bar area.

Very good videos tho...if only I was there now!!!!

Anyone else notice on the econ video that when the male crew member takes a photo, his fingers are covering the lens :)

We'll blame it on bad casting.

Lol, something to be said about remaining blind to racial profiling ii)

Has anyone ever seen a plane with pax that have no personal possessions stashed around the seat (in every cabin)?

It's a promo video after all.. I think they were nicely done, a good view of the onboard product they are offering on the 787s y)

A lot cheaper than models...

Yep, the one at the bar in UC initially and also the one taking the photo in economy are definitely crew. The girl handing out ice creams and the one at the wonder wall also look familiar.

Is onboard wifi new, or is that the costly aero thing from a while back?

Proper WiFi (as well as AeroMobile) is available on all the 789's and 3 of the A333's. Apparently VS are due to install WiFi across their entire fleet this year as well though.

AeroMobile is already installed on all the A333's and the LGW/MAN 744 fleet.

VS WiFi is currently £14.99 for 24hours unlimited usage, working using a T-Mobile hotspot system, though again apparently GoGo is now the selected WiFi partner for VS (the same as VX).

I used WiFi on G-VOOH the other week and it was surprisingly fast actually (running at between 1-2Mbps for downloads) :)

Nice videos - they show off the 787 very nicely.

Now this is sad... but 27secs into the Premium Economy video there is a control tower visible through the aircraft window. Am trying to work out if it is actually at a VS destination. It is not LHR or LGW - looks almost (but not quite) right for Orlando. Of course, it could be a generic bit of CGI - but I did wonder if VS had gone to the trouble to ensure it is actually somewhere they fly to if the image is real.

Thanks for sharing. I'll be on the Dreamliner from EWR > LHR in late May on PE, and will be curious to review the offering.

There's no Aeromobile on the 787's, only the 330 and LGW 747's. Certainly G-VAHH only had Wi-Fi.
