San Francisco Lounge Opening Times

Hi. Can anyone confirm the opening times for the Virgin Lounge at SFO? We are travelling on a Wednesday. Am I right in seeing it is 3pm? We fly at 5.10pm so does that mean only very little time in the lounge? Thanks

It's usually about 3 hours before the flight departure time.

Have a look at the SFO page on the VS website as I'm sure it has it listed on there.

If not then check what times the check-in desks open (same page different tab) as it would be the same time as that.

I rather think that it is 4 hours before departure time.

We was there just over a week ago. We checked in at 2pm and went straight to the lounge.
It was open and empty

That's great news, was wondering what to do after getting kicked out of my hotel and not being on the flight home until 21:45 - looks like a marathon session in the SFO clubhouse later in the year for me.
