Error

Whenever I try and reply to another thread I keep getting this message:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /forum/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Yet it lets me post this

Anyone else had problems posting today?

I have this quite a bit if I hit the back button after browsing a thread rather than clicking the link to return to the forum.

Hmmmmm

It seems to let me post short replies in threads, but not replies that are several paragraphs long.

May be it is trying to tell me something?

A couple of things it could be – if you're posting from an iPad/iPhone and using emojis from the special keyboard, the server doesn't recognise that character set and throws an error. Alternatively it may be something in your post (most likely a URL in most cases) that the default security settings doesn't like (mod_security for the technically minded). Try removing the http from URLs if that's the case.
