upgrades with Delta international flights using VS miles?

Hi, can someone tell me the chances of using VS miles to upgrade a delta long haul ticket?

Like with VS do you need to buy a certain class of Economy or PE ticket to be able to upgrade it?

And, I guess lastly, are VS Au holders still at the back of the line after Delta's medallion members, and unlikely to get biz seat upgrades in fact?

I don't think you can use VS miles to upgrade a DL flight

Last time I asked I couldn't upgrade, but I could use VA miles for a reward seat.
It was 90000 for an Upper return to Atlanta.

correct. VS miles cannot be used for upgrade on DL and vice versa.
Also award tickets on DL have to be round trip.

I've tried a few times to us VS miles for a Delta reward seat. Last time was a few weeks ago. FC still say it's not possible. Wonder if it depends on the route.

Trying to use miles to get NYC to Tokyo, in business, afforably. Will see what ANA has, but it's unlikely to be easy, I'm sure.
