Hi!

I've just booked my rewards flights in U/C. I've checked my booking and i'm on the Boeing 787-900 & the Airbus A330-300.

I wonder if anyone could help me select a good seat on these flights? I will be travelling alone. My first flight will be during the day whilst the second will be a night time flight.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :-D

It can be very subjective depending on your own likes and dislikes. On the new 787s we like the A seats because the other two rows face each other, whereas A row faces only the wall formed by the backs of the middle row. 4 and 5 are personal favourites, far enough from both bar and galley but YMMV.

The 330 is the density design, not too popular with many of us on the forum. Make sure you avoid the two middle rows as they are some inches shorter and this makes a real difference on a night flight. So choose the outside rows, and avoid being too near galley or bar to minimise disturbance. But again, this is very much a personal view.
