Booking reward seats by phone

I usually book online, but if booking reward seats by phone, what number is best to use, and are they open 24hr?

I don't know whether it's "the best", as some recommend using the FC number, but I've used 0844 209 7777 successfully.

Yes call the FC it's open 24/7. Although if you want to try and call as there is no avliability online - most the time they see what we see.

True, but I (and others) have seen the situation where a return booking appears possibly only to be denied by the computer, but when you look at it as two separate legs the computer would cease in its denials. However, doing that on line has the risk - however remote - of finding one leg gone by the time you've gone through the rigmarole of booking the other. A call to FC or the booking line (seems to) allows them to capture both legs at the one time.

Indeed so, but over the weekend I booked rewards seats that were not visible on line. Always worth a call I feel.

I booked my next flight by calling the FC number. There were no seats available on line for the dates I wanted to fly, but the person on the FC telephone helpline was able to sort them out for me.

It was relatively easy, even though the phone call got disconnected half way through (giving me a minor heart attack!)
